Santiago Ureña

Santiago Ureña is a trans, mixed-race latin american poet, musician and creative writing student at Douglas College. In 2016 they were the Vancouver Poetry Slam's Youth Slam champion and have since performed throughout the lower mainland. They are a mexican immigrant living on the unceded, ancestral and traditional territory of the Kwikwetlem, Qayqayt and Tsleil-Waututh nations.
